Here Comes the Streetcar!

a passenger bus that is parked on the side of a road

If you've been to Downtown, Midtown or Bricktown in the last six months, you've seen the street construction and may have wondered what it was all about. MAPS 3 is bringing back the streetcar, once a staple in the early days of Oklahoma City. Now the streetcar is beginning to operate and we're looking forward to the Bricktown Loop being operational on Fridays and Saturdays from 7a to 3p. This should assist with the issue of parking on the weekends and in enabling guests to go to multiple locations easily.

As of 8/20, drivers are being trained on the Bricktown Loop so you'll see them around our area.

You can get updates on the construction here: https://www.okc.gov/government/maps-3/projects/modern-streetcar-transit

This is good news, OKC! We love watching our city progress and grow. See you soon in Bricktown!
